The Southwest District Livestock Show and Rodeo is one of the largest Professional Rodeo’s in the United States. This rodeo is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) (prorodeo.com) and the Women’s Pro Rodeo Association (wpra.com) and is produced by PRCA’s 5 time Stock Contractor of the year, Smith, Harper and Morgan Rodeo Company (smithprorodeos.com)
It is host to world class competition drawing over 500 Professional Rodeo competitors including over 100 Pro World Champions and National Finals Contestants from across the nation. The Southwest District Livestock Show and Rodeo pays out over $250,000
It is host to over 2500 4-H and FFA exhibitors and pays out over $50,000 in scholarships annually
